You must be signed into your iGoogle home page then click mouse onto the name of the theme you prefer
your iGoogle home page will appear with your new theme.
However if you add a new theme and you are using "iGoogle" as a home page but you get the "Google Error Request-URI Too Large" screen, just click "Home" on your browser and your home page with theme should appear.
